Ohh-hoo Witchy Woman, see how high she fliiiieeeesss....

Am I a "Witchy Woman?" Well.. not really, I don't reckon. Maybe a "Bitchy Woman" sometimes... But who Aint?! (tee heee heeeee)

No, No - I just had the song in my head after watching the re-run of "Seinfield" last night where Elaine is dating this guy and she wants "Witchy Woman" to be their couples song... He wouldn't share "Desperado"....

Enough of that!

Writing for the first time in a long time. Been busy, busy over here at work.... and now its dead because everyone's at the annual convention this week. While I do have work - it isn't insane running all around like a chicken with their head cut off kinda work... just normal - and quite and calm... mmm calm...

Weather has been wonderful as of late... and I mean WONDERFUL.... 60s and 70s with plenty of sun! After work, Chris and I go for walk/runs... play outside with the pooches.... on the weekend we are at parks and playing and happy!

And not only that -- but LIFE has Been GOOD! And thats the greatest...

Yes - parents seperating/divorcing is still a recurring issue, and my grandma's dementia/illness is still a present concern... I didn't say Life Is Perfect - I said Its Been Good.
Life hasn't been - since early February - the grunt and moan it had been when I began this blog.... Which is why - I started the Blog in the first place - to vent and bump off of people to maybe figure out how to approach and deal with some of the things that were all crumbling down at once... but in 4 months - with help from friends, bloggers, venting, The Bigfoot special on the Discovery Channel, and the Lord - I think I have been able to put the right focus on some issues and sort it out...

Which means the Blog did the trick!
Wow!

On the other hand - I like typing out some of the silly things that run through my wacky mind all day too... so I''l keep it up - cause its funny to me :) And thats what matters...

Do I have a sucky blog? Perhaps... who cares? Not me...
No It isn't particularly mindbending - Doesn't deal with smart issues of the moment , or celebrity gossip, or political fodder... But - I know its better than the freaky asian teens with their crap anime blogs in broken "Engrish" -- There. I said it... I'm sorry but thats how I feel.

See?! Even now - this rambling is great... I love it..... Am I strange - YES. Yes I am :)

....IN OTHER NEWS.....

I have been on a diet for the last month and 2 weeks. Went from 145lbs (at 5'8") and no real muscles...drinking wine or booze concoction most of the weekend and eating nachos and cheese friday night thru monday morning -- To the healthy eater who exercises 3 days a week weighing in now at 134lbs (still at 5'8"- haven't shrunk or grown any.)

Also - a habitual nail biter, since the age of 6 when my mom and dad forced me to end the thumb-sucking... I have stopped biting my fingernails! (Never was really into toe nail biting - thank the lord!) Which is a difficult task! (Yes - to stop nail biting, and to try and bit your toenails, I imagine... this jokes getting old...)
So - Hooray for me.

Tonight - however is Friday - the first of 2 days of the week when I am allowed to eat and drink whatever I'd Like.... and there will be drinking tonight because we are celebrating my mom's 50th birthday tonight! Wooo-ee won't that be fun!!

So I will definitely be drinking White Russians with dinner tonight -- Oh - Boy Fun!!
Dad's coming! My brother too--- oh bliss! Everyone will get along swimmingly as per usual! I just know it :) I love them all.... but my.word. Mom and her separated husband "who left her right before she turned 50, the bastard" (her quote), Her wild and trainwreck of a son and her bossy britches daughter, who "acts just like her father" (again, her quote)... and their significant others.... ahh--- can't wait! Just 3 hours left until Party Time!! WHOOO -HOOO! Dysfuntional Family funtime!

Actually - It might not be so bad... I enjoy painting a picture though :)

you may as well make it dance."

Hey Sarnra, Thanks for visiting my blog. I love yours. It is so light and sweet. Yes, we gals all have a bit of Lucy in us. By the way, you seem to deal quite well w/ your family "stuff". Good Job!

Hey Sarna:

Miss your updates and replies. Hope all is well. We are beginning to have more and more in common . . . 35 seemingly happy years together and yet the divorce of my parents was inevitable, coming as no big surprise. Take care.
